The Sangguniang Bayan Office of the Municipality of New Lucena serves as the legislative arm of the local government, providing essential support in the formulation of policies, enactment of local ordinances, and delivery of legislative services. Under the leadership of the Municipal Vice Mayor and in close coordination with the Office of the Secretary to the Sangguniang Bayan, the office ensures efficient legislative operations that contribute to transparent, accountable, and people-centered governance.

     As part of the vision of  Municipal Mayor Attorney Carl Vincent G. Mondejar and the Una New Lucena administration, the Sangguniang Bayan remains committed to strengthening local legislation, improving public service, and promoting responsive governance that addresses the needs of every community in New Lucena, Iloilo.

  The Sangguniang Bayan Organizational Chart reflects the structure and composition of the legislative office. It is headed by the Municipal Vice Mayor Isabelo M. Acollador, who serves as the Presiding Officer of the Sangguniang Bayan. Supporting the Vice Mayor are the elected members of the Sangguniang Bayan, including the regular councilors, the Liga ng mga Barangay President, and the SK Federation President, who collectively represent the interests of the municipality in the legislative process.

  Providing administrative and legislative support is the Secretary to the Sangguniang Bayan, who oversees the Office of the Secretary to the Sangguniang Bayan. Assisting the Secretary is an Administrative Assistant, together with a team of Sangguniang Bayan Staff responsible for legislative documentation, records management, communications, committee support, monitoring systems, document processing, and other administrative functions. The organizational structure also includes Sangguniang Bayan Staff/Drivers, who provide logistical and transportation support to ensure the efficient delivery of legislative services.

  Through this well-defined organizational framework, the Sangguniang Bayan Office of New Lucena maintains effective coordination among elected officials and legislative personnel, enabling the office to deliver quality public service, uphold transparency, and support the municipality's development goals under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Attorney Carl Vincent Mondejar and the Una New Lucena administration.
