The Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) of the Municipality of New Lucena serves as the local government's planning and development arm, responsible for formulating comprehensive development plans, coordinating local development initiatives, and ensuring that government programs and projects contribute to sustainable and inclusive growth. Under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Attorney Carl Vincent G. Mondejar and in support of the vision of Una New Lucena, the MPDO remains committed to promoting effective planning, innovation, and responsive public service for the benefit of all residents of New Lucena.

  The MPDO Organizational Chart illustrates the office's structure and chain of command. Leading the office is Joseph S. Niego, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, who oversees the planning and implementation of development programs, policies, and projects. Assisting the coordinator is Von Ryan P. Somblingo, Development Management Officer IV, who supports project development, monitoring and evaluation, technical planning, and inter-agency coordination.

  Completing the organizational structure are the dedicated MPDO Staff members: Trisha Marie B. Amistoso, Metche A. Golez, and Angel Rose P. Jaro. Together, they provide technical, administrative, and operational support in the preparation of development plans, data management, project documentation, and other planning-related activities that contribute to the efficient delivery of public services.
