Niño John Vincent D. Sorongon is a dedicated public servant from Brgy. Dawis, New Lucena, Iloilo. He received his formative education at the Colegio del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus (CSCJ), completing both his elementary and high school studies in the institution. Pursuing higher education, he graduated from the University of San Agustin with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology, equipping him with knowledge and skills that continue to guide his approach to governance and community service.
His career in public service reflects the trust and confidence of the people of New Lucena. Elected as a member of the Sangguniang Bayan for multiple terms, he first served from 2013 to 2016. After gaining valuable experience and reaffirming his dedication to public leadership, he returned to serve in 2019–2022, and was once again re-elected for the 2022–2025 term. Currently, he continues his service for the 2025–present term, making him one of the consistent voices in the local council.
Throughout his years in office, Niño John Vincent D. Sorongon has remained committed to fostering inclusive governance and ensuring that the needs of his constituents are addressed.
