In its continuing commitment to responsive and people-centered governance, the Municipality of New Lucena launched "Suyod Negosyo," an innovative barangay-based business registration initiative that brings government services directly to local entrepreneurs. Instead of requiring business owners to travel to the Municipal Hall, the Local Government Unit (LGU), through the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), visits every barangay to conduct on-site business registration and permit processing.

Scheduled across all 21 barangays, the program mobilizes the BPLO together with representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Municipal Engineering Office, and the Municipal Health Office's Sanitary Inspection Unit. This coordinated approach enables business owners to complete the necessary requirements within their own communities, making the process more convenient, efficient, and citizen-friendly.
