On August 21, 2026, the Municipality of New Lucena calls on the entire community to come together for the 12th Annual RAID+SV — Run Against Illegal Drugs + Smoking and Vaping, starting at 5:00 AM at the New Lucena Municipal Grounds.

For twelve years, RAID+SV has been more than a community run. It has been a continuing advocacy that brings New Lucenanhons together behind one important goal: building a drug-free, smoke-free, and vape-free New Lucena.

This year, we want you to be part of it. Register now!

We invite senior citizens, persons with disabilities, youth, students, families, government employees, barangay officials, civil society organizations, community groups, and advocates to walk, jog, or run with us. With 1K, 3K, and 5K categories, everyone has an opportunity to participate.

You do not have to be a competitive runner to make a difference. Your presence is already a statement of support for the advocacy.

When families participate together, we send a powerful message to our children. When young people and students join, they demonstrate that healthy choices can become part of their generation's identity. When senior citizens and PWDs participate, they remind us that community advocacy must be inclusive. And when organizations, institutions, and different sectors unite, we demonstrate that creating a safer and healthier New Lucena is a shared responsibility.
