The Municipality of New Lucena, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), successfully facilitated the UPLIFT Assistance Payout yesterday, July 27, 2026, at the Municipal Covered Gym. This initiative by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) aims to provide much-needed aid to eligible residents, helping ease financial burdens and open doors to better opportunities.
 
The activity was made possible with the presence of PSA staff and our Municipal Mayor, Atty. Carl Vincent G. Mondejar, CPA. In his remarks, the mayor reaffirmed his full support for programs that directly uplift and improve the lives of every New Lucenahon, emphasizing that no one should be left behind in our progress.
